Penny Board

This week ive been getting into the summer mood and have decided to invest in a more interesting form of transport than the tube so bought a Penny skateboard from Urban Outfitters where i work. ive boarded a couple of times before and have been snowboarding about ten times so i pretty much knew how to ride it already. when boarding in hyde park a couple of guys skated past on normal boards, luckily i stood out a little with my bright yellow board and purple wheels. expect loads of photos of me skating in the parks of London this summer.

Ive been real busy recently going away for easter but im back in london and whilst away ive been listening to some great music. a couple of my good friends started a band about a year ago called YOUTHBLOOD and they have a really unique sound, its like a pyschedelic electronic mash up. i havent gotten them out of my head and cant stop humming the tunes to ELECTRO TRACK and FUNERAL as well as some of their new stuff like VVIBES and NOT SCIENCE. definitely worth a listen as they've been gigging all around the southeast and have got some great things lined up for the summer.

Sunny Street Style

its been pretty sunny here in London this past week so and ive been taking full advantage, yes i got the shorts out but it wasnt too cold. everything im wearing is vintage and either from Rokit or Camden stables. ill get some more pictures up soon. 

Pizza East Meal

so last night i went for a meal and a catch up woth my sister at Pizza East in Shoreditch and it was great and not overly pricey, thankfully the pretentiousness of Shoreditch was left at the door and everyone was so friendly and chilled. best meal out ive had in a while, definitely worth a visit

Black Sands gig

Last night  a friend of mine invited me to a show at the Paper Dress Vintage shop in Shoreditch where a band called Black Sands were playing. I came away humming their newest release 'She' and made my way out to Bank for a night of awkward dubbing to dodgy 00s one hit wonders. Maybe next time i'll learn to stick with my gut and stay out east.
